Each painting is inspired by the fullness that can be experienced when fully present with ordinary life. I find inspiration in the simplest things such as the intricate pattern of veins on a leaf, the sensation of folding warm laundry, or the love and companionship felt between pet and owner.
By being fully immersed in the senses with everyday objects and experiences, we discover a richness and quiet aliveness in everyday life . My paintings are created in an intuitive flow with intentions of connecting one to the beautiful dimension of life that is beyond words.

Isis is an ancient Egyptian goddess, a symbol of the divine mother, healer and mystic. She represents a balance and harmonizing of the male and female energy making her a truly empowered and enlightened figure.
This intuitive message from this painting is for us to embrace both the feminine and masculine within. That intuition, softness, the mysterious, the creative process and “being” is just as vital as logic, clarity, and grounded action (“doing”). When both aspects are acknowledged and welcomed we are empowered.
