When creating a new painting or illustration, I like to mediate on a particular positive feeling (love, laughter, joy, renewal, surrender ect.) to get in alignment with the energy of that feeling so that it translates into the artwork. When complete, each piece is infused with Reiki energy to inspire energetic transmutation.
